Spring Cleaning

It is that time of year to make your house feel clean and fresh like when you first moved into it!  Being organized helps make your house feel like that all year.  Having a place for everything helps keep clutter down and actually means less cleaning.  If you need help in getting started on organizing your home send me a message and lets discuss it.  I am available Friday-Sunday.  Happy Monday to all.

No dryer needed!

It has been awhile since I have used my clothesline outside, but I took the time the other day to put it to use.  The weather has been good for a few weeks for using the line, I however just couldn't seem to get out there and do it.  Now that I have, it makes me feel good for a couple of reasons.  The first reason is I am not using our dryer and therefore am saving us money.  That is awesome!  Second, I am helping the planet by conserving all that energy!  Pretty awesome too!  If you don't have a clothesline I really recommend putting one up.  It is easy and saves you money.  There are also many devices out there as well for hanging clothes t day if you don't have a large space for a line.  Check out places like the Container Store!  Happy Wednesday!

Microfiber Hand Cloth

I picked up one of these at HEB the other day and it was awesome to use.  For one, it only cost 1.97 in the cleaning isle.  You slip it on just like a glove and dust!  I did one set of blinds in under 5 minutes.  Make sure you read the directions on cleaning the cloth.  No bleach or detergents.

Mr. Clean Eraser Part II

So I found a coupon in the box that the erasers came in and just had to use it!  It was for Mr. Clean Eraser for the Bathroom.  This sponge is thinner and shaped a little differently.  It also has a cleaner in it.  Although it didn't work as well as the original eraser, I still liked it.  I also liked the smell of the cleaner they used.  It was not overpowering.  I would diffently recommend this product.  Go get one and try it.  Your tub will thank you.

Mr. Clean Eraser

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Last week I was looking at my disgusting bathtub that I can never get clean no matter what I use.  Then I thought, I am going to try one of my Mr. Clean erasers and like magic, it worked!  These little erasers have never failed me!  They come in packs of 4 and I always keep some around the house.  So forget the bleach and foams, get the Mr. Clean Eraser and scrub that tub!

Chore Board for Zane

Put a new dry erase board up in Zane's room.  It is a Mon-Sunday chart with a section for notes on the side.  In the notes section I listed things he needs to do every night before he goes to bed.  During the week are his activities, homework and reading time and special events.  I think it has really helped him get his chores done at night and be more involved in what is going on from day to day.  Now if we can only keep his baby sister from marking on it and erasing stuff!  It may have to go up higher on the wall.  We will see.

Blogger: Time to Organize-Rebecca - Configure Blog Posts

I have been organizing my daughters room again. She has a small space and getting everything to fit has been a challenge. I have used plasic shoe boxes for cards, small toys and game pieces. These boxes are clear and I have labeled each one. There is a tall bookshelf in her room which holds her books(up high), puzzles and pictures. Getting her to only bring out a couple things at a time from her room is the biggest problem. She likes to bring everything out at one time! I have put big puzzles, more boxes and a white washtub with electronic toys up on the high shelf in her closet. My goal is to rotate out toys and such every week.
