Hey everyone! Hope your Monday has been great! We have had some computer issues going on at The Waits household, so I was not able to do my Easy Menu Monday. Sorry! Hopefully next week things go better! If I had a new hard drive things would be great and we may have to get a new one soon. I highly recommend backing up pictures and videos. Also, anything you do on your blog! I am sure most of you back up everything already, but for us procrastinators it takes something happening to get done what needs to be done!
I am going to share with you the plant holder I did last week. I had an old bathroom metal shelf that I had been hanging onto and decided it would be great for holding plants. Here is a before of the shelf:
We had some left over blue spray paint and I thought, why not!
Then we hung it up on the back fence with a couple of wood screws.
Looks good right? Next we needed some planters. I got 3 plastic planters and we screwed those into the fence because I did not want them to fall off since the planter is up high on the fence.
These are ready for some plants!
I love it! We left a space for another planter if I want one, but for now there is a birdhouse that my son and I made together sitting there looking good. I can see this from my backdoor and it makes me smile every time! I love reusing things from around the house and making them shine again and giving it a new purpose! What have you reused around your house lately?
Parties I linked up with:
It all started with paint
My Favorite Finds
a bowl full of lemons
The Real Housewives of Riverton
Sugar Bee Crafts
the Sasse life
Tales of a Trophy Wife
Southern Lovely
Polkadots on Parade
Six Sister's Stuff
Perfect!!! I so LOVE this! Awesome job, and loving that bright blue color! Whoohoo, great project!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was fun to do even though I don't like using spray paint! But for some reason, I had no problems with this project!
DeleteGreat idea! I love the ingenuity of this project. It looks great as a plant holder...and love the blue. I'm happy to follow along and get to see more of your creativity.

So very clever! I've been actively looking for ways to dress up my very boring (and now aging) wood fence. This is a fabulous idea ...
ReplyDelete... so happy you shared it with us at our Great Outdoors link party!
