Relaxation

Isn't it always wonderful to get away from your everyday living and just relax. Strolling through shops, eating good food and spending time with my husband is my way of relaxing. We spent Saturday in Brenham, Tx. My mom watched the kids and for my birthday gift booked us a night at Lillian Farms B&B in Chappell Hill, Tx. We almost thought we were not going to make it because one of the roads out to the B&B was flooded but there was another road we could take and we turned around and made it that way. There has been so much rain around here lately it is almost hard to believe it! It is a welcome sight to so many. Anyway, we had a wonderful day together and I have a great husband who will go into every antique store or craft store with a smile on his face! He treated himself Saturday night with a steak and a glass of red wine. You deserve it honey! Hope you all had a relaxing weekend!

Lickity Split Lasagna

Hey everyone!  I had hopped to have my pantry reveal tomorrow, but I don't think it is going to happen.  Hopefully by next week.  My kiddos are staying with their Nana and Granny this weekend.  My husband and I are headed to a B&B for some relaxation.  So have a great weekend and see you next week!

Here is my Lickity Split Lasagna recipe.  Maybe you can use it over the weekend for a quick and easy meal.  I cannot remember where I got it(I have had it for a few years) but it is yummy.  Use your favorite brands and just follow the recipe.  I will say I usually use three noodles per row and do three layers.  It makes the dish better to me.  Enjoy!

I think I need some new cards.  Looks like sauce!

Yummy!
