Christmas Trees a Three
I hope everyone is having a great week. I have not posted anything and thought, why not post our little Christmas trees. I decided to put our trees together this year . I really like how the trees look together and they really stand out in our little living room.
The one on the left is our daughter’s, the middle one for all of us and the last is our son’s.
The kids have lots of handmade ornaments. They had so much fun looking at the things they have made over the years.
Most of our gifts are wrapped in brown paper with chalk writing. Super easy and inexpensive! I did splurge on some tissue paper at Hobby Lobby. It was half off so only 50c. I know right! It is really nice thick tissue paper too. Love it when I find a great deal.
So these are our Christmas trees a three. Have a wonderful week and may it be festive too! Oh, and take some Time to Organize if you can!

Computer Desk
Hope everyone is having a great week. I decided to share our home computer desk and how we keep it organized. I have shared this area in the past and you can see that post here:Desk
I have recently re-organized this space to be more functional and clutter free. As you can see in the picture below, the area to the right of the computer is an empty space. My goal is to keep it that way. Where the containers are in that area behind it used to house a double file shelf. I noticed that papers kept piling up in this space and we had no room on the desk to write or just set something down that was being worked on.
So, I moved the little shelf out and put these in that space instead.
The clear plastic bin holds computer games, photo discs and blank discs. Next to that is the glass container that is now holding tape. Having it out like this has come in handy while I have been wrapping presents.
These next two pictures are our paper box and pen holder. Next to the paper box we keep a stapler. We used to keep the stapler in our drawer and didn’t use it that much. Since I set it out next to the paper box, we have been using it all the time! Making an item visible makes it usable.
Our desk drawer is in this next picture. It is super small with a lot of stuff inside. I placed a long plastic basket inside to house some of the smaller items. We keep our envelopes in this drawer, dictionary, thesaurus and address labels. The envelopes are in the boxes they came in. I just took off the tops. Instant organizing! I just wanted to point out the yellow sticky notes. I know it is a huge waste of paper and next year I have a goal to find other more earth friendly methods, but for now, the sticky notes are getting used!
Here is another look at our computer desk. I feel that since making some small changes to this area, it stays clutter free and is more enjoyable to work around. I think that over the year I have learned so much about organizing and what works for our family. I look forward to learning even more next year! Have a great rest of the week and take some Time to Organize!

Chalkboard Labels
Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a delightful weekend. We had a great time Saturday at the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade in downtown Austin. At the end of the parade tons of trucks stop and all the kids run out to the streets to put their unwrapped toys in the beds of the trucks. Getting to see a great parade and giving to others is a win all the way around.

Now for some organizing. I have seen these Martha Stewart with Avery Chalkboard Labels all over the place and just had to get some and try them out. I decided to label something that I already had been using in our kitchen. For the last few months we have been using clear glass vases for our silverware. These vase are set out on the kitchen counter and make for really easy access. So, I thought these labels would be great to spruce up the vases. Here is the result.
I have to admit that these are awesome labels. I goofed on one and just erased it. How cool is that? Um, really cool. The are 12 of these labels per pack and I am looking for what else around my house I can use them on.
Have a great week everyone and take some Time to Organize.

Pinterest Saturday
Happy December!! It is so hard to believe we are in the last month of the year. 2012 has gone by in such a flash. I guess life really does move fast. If you don't slow down once in awhile, you might miss it. Some of those great words are from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I gotta buy that movie this coming year! Wow, back to the post people!
So, I have not posted anything since before Thanksgiving. We had such a great one and I hope all of you did too! I figured I would get back to posting once December hit. We all need a break from time to time right?
My Pinterest picks this week are really random. Not a theme going on here at all. So just sit back and enjoy. Oh, and have a great weekend!!
